Obituary of Crystal Doreen Megginson

Crystal Doreen Megginson 12/20/1963 - 6/17/2021 Crystal Doreen Megginson was born December 20th 1963 at Santa Cruz, California. She went to be with her Lord and Savior June 17th, 2021. She is survived by her parents Earl and Carol Megginson of Orland and her brother Dean Megginson of Leesburg, Virginia. Crystal is a graduate of Orland High School and continued her education in various fields. During her high school years she entered the ROP program and became a Certified Nurse's Assistant. Later on she entered the California Job Corps where she completed LVN training in 1970. She continued her training in healthcare and became a Certified Massage Therapist in the early 1980s. In 1987 she enlisted in the United States Air Force where she served more than 4 years. Her service was in a Civil Engineering Squadron as an Environmental Support Specialist. During that time her Enlistment was extended because of the Desert Storm War. After her honorable discharge from the USAF as a Senior Airman, she attended Butte College and graduated with an A. S. degree in Psychology. Although she never married, she was compassionate in her love and care for children. She also expressed her compassion toward the elderly with the many years of her healthcare service for seniors. Music was another part of Crystal's life. During her early years she served with her family as missionaries in Mexico; while there she learned to play her Mexican guitar. She became proficient in playing different instruments including: the guitar, drums and the keyboard. She even led the worship service in her local church for a brief period of time. Words to describe her life are many. Some of them are might be: Forgiving, tenderhearted, love, that was expressed through her compassion for those in need. Music, (even as a child she could often be heard singing in her bed.) Yes, she had her struggles as we all do with what life presents us, but during her life she touched many people. Some of them are now in heaven because of her testimony. What a glorious reunion is now taking place in glory! We the earthbound, miss you here Crystal!
