Obituary of Adelsa Fern Rogers

Adelsa Fern Rogers; Age 84 received her angel wings on Easter Sunday in Redding CA surrounded by her family. Adelsa was born on June 18, 1936 in Stockton CA. "Fern" as her close family and friends called her attended Bethany Bible College where she met the love of her life Truvon, they were married 45 wonderful years. Adelsa loved to play the piano in their church, and anytime she had the chance. She enjoyed knitting things for her family, friends and the less fortunate. Her family was the light of her life, she loved unconditionally, and was always a listening ear. Adelsa loved singing, cooking yummy foods including her salsa, canning, drinking wine, and exploring daily with her daughter Becky and grandson Sterling, also known as the Three Stooges. She always had her K9 Bestfriend Dozer on her lap or by her side daily, bringing her happiness, peace, and purpose. Adelsa was a wonderful Friend, Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great grandmother. She is proceeded in death by many family members and her Husband. She is survived by 1 sister, 2 daughters, 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Services will be on Sat. April 17th at 11am at Affordable Mortuary in Chico, Ca. In leu of flowers the family has asked for potted plants to plant in her memory. The family would like to thank all those who have reached out during these trying times it means more to them then you know.
