Obituary of Jack Dillard Oxford

At the age of 99, Jack Oxford passed on to his eternal reward.

His service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery, in Red Bluff, CA. 96080.

He will be laid to rest next to his loving wife of 57 years, Cleta Mae Oxford.

Born in Wilberton, Oklahoma to Henry & Luvenia Oxford, Jack was one of seven children. He made his way west, eventually coming to live in Medford, Oregon where he was surrounded by his 5 children and extended family. Jack delighted in his Children, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and even Great Great Grandchildren, he was lovingly known by many titles.

He lived a modest and reserved life; always humble, unpretentious and with a servant’s heart. While he exemplified a self-effacing nature, he cast a much larger shadow as measured by all the family and friends who will miss him greatly. He was a strong Christian man and loved the Lord with all his heart. He leaves us with many fond memories: hunting & fishing trips, family dinners, “inventive” ways to fix things; and everyone will remember what a great storyteller he was. He always made time for his family and friends and was happiest when surrounded by both.

He will be sorrowfully missed and joyously remembered.
