Obituary of Linda June Kiehn

Linda June Kiehn passed away in Chico on December 26, 2022 after battling Alzheimer's for several years.

LJ was born May 28, 1941 at Enloe Hospital in Chico.  Her younger years growing up were spent in Orland until the family moved to Chico where she entered Chico Jr High and then Chico High where she graduated in 1959.  A family started thereafter and then an outstanding career in the business world in the Chico area.  She served as a secretary at the Chico Chamber of Commerce, Executive secretary in the area office of Senator Jim Nielsen, Director of Volunteers for Enloe Hospital and finished her career as the Executive Secretary to Butte County Chief of Probation.  

In her retirement she enjoyed her many friends and family, golf and Hawaii trips, and her yearly Almanor girls weekend getaways.  LJ was a Chico Heat fan and host Mom for years for Chico Heat players and loved working at the Discovery Shoppe.  

Linda leaves behind her husband Bob, children Brad, Stephen & Stacie Piper, grandkids Blake & Kylee; her Wenatchee kids: Darren, Alex, Casey, Maddy & Hanna. Sister Sharon Phippen, brothers Chris Geyer and Mark & Bruce Wood.  LJ was predeceased by two daughters; Brenda and Hallee.  

No services are planned.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Discovery Shoppe in Chico.
