Obituary of Ronald L. Gearhardt

 RONALD LEE GEARHARDT passed away in Chico, California on 1/9/2023 at the age of 77.  He is survived by his niece, Sherrie Gearhardt Miskuin, and nephew, Steven J. Gearhardt as well as many great nieces and nephews.  His daughter, Trish, preceded him in death in 1990.  Also his older brother, David Joseph Gearhardt, preceded him in death in 2007.   He was born on 11/14/1945 to Martha and Vincent Gearhardt in Newark, New Jersey.  Ron graduated from Monterey Union High school in 1962.  He went to Monterey Peninsula College for 1 year, then joined the US Air Force.  He was a Vietnam Veteran and was honorably discharged in 1971.  Ron was an avid golfer.  He spent ten years as a Golf pro, then promoted to manager of Corral de Tierra country club in Salinas, CA.  He was a businessman, insurance agent and a banking investor as well.  He continued his passion for golf as a volunteer at Pebble Beach golf tournaments and became a private golf instructor. He also continued weekly rounds of golf with his friends near his home in Magalia, Ca.  

His funeral will be on February 10, 2023 at the California Central Coast Veterans Cemetery in Seaside, California.
