Obituary of Diana Lynn Minch

Diana passed away January 31st peacefully in her sleep. She was born February 11, 1947 in Red Bluff, California to Arlo and Faye Stroing. She was a life long resident of Red Bluff. Diana went to grammar school at the Lincoln School also known as the Little Red School House. She graduated from Red Bluff High School in 1965. She owned her own fabric store called Stretch & Stitch Knits for many years. She taught sewing classes at Shasta and Butte College and various high schools. She was a great bookkeeper. She kept books for several different logging companies, she worked for Corning Water and Irrigation for 10 years, she only had 11 days left until retirement, she was really looking forward to it. She enjoyed spending time in the mountains out west. She cherished her granddaughter Sylvia, her pride and joy. She spent alot of time helping her parents out on the family ranch. She is survived by her parents Arlo and Faye Stroing, her sister Connie Warren and Beaver Urban, her daughters and son-in-laws, Donna and Martin Mattila and Jacki and Marty Montgomery, her granddaughter Sylvia Montgomery and nephews, Jason and Nicole Lesher and their 3 children, aunts, uncles and many many cousins. There will be a memorial service, Saturday, 2-7-09 at 11:00 am at the First Christian Church, located at 926 Madison Street in Red Bluff, with a reception following at the Westside Grange Hall on Walnut Street, Red Bluff.
