Obituary of Rose Mary Campos

Rose M. Campos, of Chico, CA passed away on Sunday May 16, 2021 at the age of 62. After months of failing health, she died peacefully with her beloved family by her side. Rose was born on October 14, 1958 in Sacramento, CA to Gloria C. Knight and was later adopted by George and Bernice Case. She grew up in Orland, CA and moved to Chico, CA. in 1980. She was the beloved mother of Maria, Alejandro, Elizabeth, Sammy and Victor, proud grandmother of Anthony, Samuel, Alex, Graciela, Elizabeth, Breanna, George, Alexis, Aveah, Hercules, and Alissa. Rose is survived by her devoted husband Samuel, sisters Barbara, Sandra and Charlene, and brothers Jesse and Jim. Rose lived a full life as a wonderful mother, homemaker and worker in the retail and manufacturing sector. She loved to read, was highly skilled with knitting needles and crochet hooks, and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. Most of all she loved her family and instilled strong values. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Everyone who remembers her is asked to celebrate Rose’s life in their own way, raising a glass of their favorite drink in her memory would be quite appropriate. Family & friends are invited to attend a viewing on Friday, May 21st from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Affordable Mortuary, 2934 Esplanade, Chico, CA. 95973. A graveside burial service will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 1 p.m. at the Glen Oaks Memorial Park, 11115 Midway.
