Obituary of Toshiko Andrade

Toshiko Andrade, age 75, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2009. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd of Chico; one sister, Masako Benson of Seatle, Washington; two brothers, Osamu and Tomio Asakura of Japan; five daughters, Vickie Vinke, Linda Cytron, Gayle McMorrow, Lori Penny and Ginger Vogel; nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Toshiko was born in Tokyo, Japan and married her husband, an Army Sergeant, after World War II. She was well known in Chico as the "Fuller Brush Lady." She was a member of the Fuller Brush Board of Directors and was the Western Regional manager. She was a consecutive top sales lady in the U.S. and won numerous awards for her sales, dedication and loyalty. She was known for her strong recruiting skills. She also worked seasonally for Lifetouch School Pictures, Teneco West and Continental Nut Company. Toshiko was a loving mother and a kind and generous friend to all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed by all.
