Obituary of Steven Holmes Mingo

Chico, CA — It is with heavy hearts we announce Steven H. Mingo’s unexpected passing.

Born in Glens Falls, NY on Dec. 26, 1957 to the late Richard and Dawn (Holmes) Mingo, Steven was one of 5 children and graduated from Glen Falls High School, class of 1976. Steven loved to make people laugh and was well known for telling corny jokes. Everyone laughed at them even if they weren’t funny because he would start laughing, loud, right after he told them. He loved helping out the community of Cohasset by distributing food to the needy. He used to love gardening, taking hikes, and traveling with his wife when he was healthy.

Besides his parents, Steven was predeceased by his brothers, Joe and Michael. He leaves behind his loving wife of 45 years, Dianna Mingo; brother: Paul Mingo; sister: Phyllis Mingo; nephews: Randy, Scott and Jesse Mingo.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date in Glens Falls.
